The problem:
Most spreadsheets generated by AI look like they were generated by AI.
The problem isn’t necessarily that the formatting is bad. It’s that when work looks like it came straight out of Claude or GPT, people may begin to question the numbers underneath it. You still need to put your name on the work. It should look like something you would produce.
The Custom Styles solution:
Set your style once. Make the work look like yours.
Set your theme in Atomiq’s settings and use it as the default for future workbooks. Your formatting rules are applied deterministically across the workbook, rather than leaving the agent to reinterpret them each time. The result should reflect your style as well as your logic.
How it works:
Open your style settings
Open the settings panel on the left-hand side and find the workbook style settings.
Make them yours
Set the styles and number formats to match how you or your company present the work.
Set the default
Save the theme as your default if you want it used for future workbooks. You can always change it later.
